"Application Routing with NetZyme Software Infrastructure"
By Mrs. Maria Nilva, Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer,
Mr. Leonid Nilva, Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer,
Creative Science Systems, Inc.; &
By Mr. Patrick Gilmartin, AKA Ventures
Open to the Public. 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. The Pub Talk begins at 6:00 p.m.

At this Pub, come here about Creative Science Systems' integration infrastructure platform. Application routing lets multiple distributed and mobile clients (PCs, laptops, PDAs, and cell phones) access the functionality of monolithic applications in realtime. Unlike content routing, application routing enables bi-directional access to dynamic data not just to HTML or XML text. NetZyme software infrastructure is totally agnostic (protocol, platform, and programming language independent), allowing the platform to be used 1) in between NetZyme clients and servers, 2) in the context of Web Services, and 3) within MQ Series and TIB/RV clouds. NetZyme software infrastructure includes: mobile-access, message-oriented, and object-oriented middleware.

Mr. Wayne Wright, Associate Creative Director, Halleck
Open to the Public. 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. The Pub talk begins at 6:00 p.m.

PowerPoint has become the de facto presentation software in the global business environment. It is the vehicle used to communicate, educate, and sell. Ironically, its ubiquity and enhanced features have not elevated the quality of presentations and, hence, the results that people could achieve. Poor presentations are responsible for opportunities lost, brand equity eroded, and money wasted.

At this Pub Talk, Halleck will illustrate some of the do's and don'ts that impact the effectiveness of your PowerPoint presentations. Come learn how to get the best out of this application and the wonders it could do for your business success.

PUB TALK: THURSDAY, APRIL 25, 2002
"Data Integration: The Gateway to Life Science Data and 'In-Silico' Drug Discovery"
By Mr. Jeff Edwards, President & Chief Operating Officer, geneticXchange
Open to the Public. 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. The Pub talk begins at 6:00 p.m.

The bottleneck in drug discovery has shifted from data collection to data integration and analysis. In fact, poor data integration is seen as a key factor reducing R&D productivity. Trying to solve the life science data integration problem using traditional IT approaches is like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole -- it doesn’t work. At this Pub, come learn how geneticXchange's K1 System is providing a revolutionary way to solve this problem, enabling rapid access to - and integration of - complex, dispersed scientific data. The business results are accelerated time to market, reduced risk, and elimination of a long-standing barrier to the drug discovery process for biotech and pharmaceutical companies.

ABOUT JEFF EDWARDS
Jeff Edwards is President and Chief Operating Officer of geneticXchange, the leading provider of data integration solutions for the biotech industry. Mr. Edwards has over 20 years of experience in operations, sales, and marketing in the high-tech industry. In addition, executives from Fortune 500 companies such as Computer Associates and AT&T have engaged Mr. Edwards to design various IT-based business models. He holds a BA in business administration with graduate studies at Northwestern University's J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management in international marketing.
