ABOUT OUR KNOWLEDGE NETWORK PARTNERS
The Center welcomes Click Magazine and High Performance Resources,
Inc. as Knowledge Network Partners. These are companies that support
and complement the network the Center has created for the high-level
exchange of knowledge about new thought leaders, new technology
trends, and innovative approaches to the business of the Internet
Economy.
ABOUT CLICK MAGAZINE
The Center welcomes CliCK Magazine as a Knowledge Network Partner
focusing on the thought leaders and innovators in the Silicon Valley.
CLiCK Magazine was founded in 1999 with the goal of becoming "The
Talk of Silicon Valley" -- the anedote for the proliferation
of high-tech business journalism in and around Silicon Valley. CliCK
entertains and informs by telling the stories of the innovators,
thought leaders, characters and the fascinating individuals that
have made this region what it is today. Each month CLiCK brings
to its readers fresh, readable stories behind high-tech's hottest
companies, looking at trends and giving insight to the industry's
biggest names. CLiCK is also keeping an eye out for players to watch.
CLiCK strives to put the personality and feeling back in business
with eye-popping, innovative design and first-rate photography of
the people in the industry rather than focusing on stock prices,
business models and market trends
CLiCK Magazine is published by 18 Media's Sloane Citron, known
throughout the region as the publisher of both Gentry and Northern
California Home and Design magazines. CLiCK Magazine is distributed
monthly for free, direct to 25,000 business executives and upper-level
managers from San Jose to San Francisco. CLiCK is also available
in many local bookstores, and has been enjoying a fantastic response
in the five months of its existence.
ABOUT STEVE ENDERS AND RICH RUTHERFORD
CLiCK's editor is Steve Enders, a born-and-bred, Silicon Valley
native who cut his teeth with Metro Newspapers in the South Bay
and by writing for various other publications and websites before
coming to CLiCK. Advertising Sales Director/Associate Publisher
Rich Rutherford is also a Bay Area native, with more than 10 years
of advertising, sales and marketing experience in a variety of fields,
from the publishing to software industries.
ABOUT HIGH PERFORMANCE RESOURCES
The Center welcomes the insights about the human resource side
of the Internet Economy through their Knowledge Network Partner,
High Performance Resources, Inc (HPR). HPR helps organizations attract,
retain and convert their Human Capital to shareholder value. This
critical capacity defines competitive advantage in the global knowledge
economy.
Based in San Francisco, HPR was formed in 1994 to study the evolving
role of Human Capital in the business model shift from tangible-
to Intellectual Capital. In 1998 it co-developed an economic model
linking Human Capital Capacity to Shareholder Value. One year later,
HPR's concepts were presented at Georgetown University's MBA program
which included such noteworthy company participants as Cisco, UPS
and Ariba.
In collaboration with the Center, HPR will provide seminars for
the first time to the public beginning in August 2000.
