DESCRIPTION
Cable & Wireless is using a combination of Extranets
and Web services to deliver the Internet promise to companies. This
entails changing the way we look at the way service is delivered
and blended, as well as the new ways of managing business' expectations
online. During the first hour, Mr. Deane McIntyre will explore some
of these new business models and show the importance of Extranets
for making the most from this new environment. An interactive discussion
with the audience challenging Mr. McIntyre on his views will take
place during the second hour.
ABOUT DEANE MCINTYRE
Deane McIntyre is Director of the online channel
for Enterprise customers. He has worked at Cable & Wireless for
over 5 years and is currently completing his MSc in the Internet.
He graduated with a degree from New Zealand and has been a resident
in the United Kingdom.
